GPT-4: Proof that you’re probably not up to date with the latest AI

GPT-4 Proof that you’re probably not up to date with the latest AI content writing technology

ChatGPT is constantly improving thanks to its ability to collect and analyse vast amounts of data from its user interactions – and there’s a lot of them! So it will be no surprise to you that there is already an updated version of ChatGPT; GPT4.

GPT-4 is the latest version of the ChatGPT software, ran by OpenAI, who describe the chatbot as “a large multimodal model (accepting image and text inputs, emitting text outputs) that, while less capable than humans in many real-world scenarios, exhibits human-level performance on various professional and academic benchmarks.”- in short, a powerful upgrade on ChatGPT-3.5.

What are the main differences between ChatGPT-3.5 and GPT-4?

There are a number of noticeable differences. The main difference, being GPT-4 can recognise and understand images. GPT-4 can also respond to images and queries. This has led to some exciting uses, like GPT-4 creating a website based on a quick sketch, or being able to suggest recipes for a user after analysing an image of the ingredients they have to hand.

OpenAI claims that GPT-4 can process up to 25,000 words at a time — that’s eight times more than the original GPT-3 model — and it can understand much more nuanced instructions, requests, and questions than GPT-3.5. GPT-4 will also be harder to trick, won’t spit out falsehoods as often, and is more likely to turn down inappropriate requests or queries that could see it generate harmful responses.

Other GPT-4 improvements include:

  • Better at understanding humour
  • Advanced reasoning capabilities
  • 82% less likely to respond to requests for disallowed content
  • 40% more likely to produce factual responses than GPT-3.5

How can it help in marketing?

We recently discussed how chatbots and AI can help with your marketing strategy when we tested ChatGPT, and, with the advancement in technology, GPT-4 is here to take your marketing efforts to the next level. Some additional ways you can use GPT-4 include:

  • Creating content based on your creative images. If you don’t have an in-house or outsourced content writer, you can use GPT-4 to help inspire ideas for content based on your creative designs.
  • Writing content on a tight timeframe. GPT-4 is reportedly 8 times faster than its predecessor, so if you have content that you need quickly, GPT-4 could help you.

The main limitation of GPT-4 is that it is not available to everyone; you must be a subscriber to ChatGPT Plus, the paid version of ChatGPT. So even if you’re itching to try out the latest in AI content generation, you will need to pay and upgrade your subscription first.
