We’re proud to be supporting some great charities this year

Charities
As the cost-of-living crisis continues to impact many people across each financial bracket in the UK, Definition continues to support charities to help make a difference.

Each year we reflect on the charity work we’ve been part of and ask the whole team how we’re going to make a difference in the next year.

So in 2024, we’re delighted to announced the two charities we are supporting and also how we’re giving our time to help others.

We are proud to be one of the founding members of the 100 Club. The 100 Club is supporting children and their families living in poverty in the Greater Manchester area by donating to food banks and other similar schemes to fund much needed supplies. The 100 club was set up by JCM Business Solutions following a number of donations the directors made to fund meals for families and having the urge to do more and enable other businesses to join them and with the one aim of every penny raised going to where it is needed.

The charity also helps homeless families find suitable housing, and finds solutions for bed poverty amongst children, and support organisations getting them into safe places and schools. Their long-term aim is to help people to get out of poverty and provide aspiration for the next generation.

We’re proud to continue supporting Speed of Sight and be an active member of the Inspire 25 Club. The Inspire 25 Club enables businesses large and small to support and change the lives of people with life-limiting disabilities. Speed of Sight provide driving experiences for people of all ages regardless of ability or disability who otherwise would not be able to experience the thrill of driving.

Volunteering

This year each member of the team can also take a day off to support a local charity, watch this space for more updates on this throughout the year.
